Rules/What to Bring

We strive to make Heather Hill Cabins a great place for your family to vacation and that you will return for another great trip.   To provide a quality and relaxing vacation, we ask that you treat our property with respect and follow the rules.   Below are a few of the rules.   A more comprehensive listing is in your rental agreement. 

HOUSE RULES

  • Cancellations at least 30 days before the start of the stay will receive a 100% refund of the initial deposit.  Cancellations at least 14 days before the start of the stay will receive a 50% refund of the total rental amount.  Less than 14 days is non-refundable.  All cancellations are assessed a $35 administrative fee.   Early departure does not warrant any refund of rent or deposit.

  • Check-in time is anytime after 4 pm.  Check-out time is at 11 am.  Please do not arrive prior to check-in time without permission from the owner.  Check-in/out times are established to allow the housekeeper ample time to prepare the cabins for the next guests.

  • Heather Hill has a strict non-smoking policy for all properties. Violation of this policy will result in a fee of $250.

​

  • For an additional fee, pets are allowed in four of our properties, the Original, Hilltopper, Majestic, and Gametime Harrison.  The Retreat has a no-pet policy. Violating this policy will result in complete forfeiture of the security deposit and remaining rental in the case of eviction.

  • Please leave the cabins and the property in the same condition as you found it.  We strive to provide a wonderful experience for our guests and your assistance is greatly appreciated.  The security deposit will be returned within 7 days after the cabin has been cleaned and inspected.

  •  A check-in document will be provided upon booking.  Please read carefully as this will provide information regarding your departure.

 WHAT TO BRING

Our properties come with bed linens (sheets/blankets), bath towels, several rolls of toilet paper per bathroom, 2 rolls of paper towels, and all the kitchen necessities you might need.  Each property has a drip coffee maker/coffee filters, toaster, pots/pans, silverware, dishes, etc.   Please note the cabins do not have a washer or dryer, so please pack accordingly. GameTime Harrison does have a washer/dryer.

We suggest you bring the following:

  • Charcoal and lighter fluid

  • Beach towels for the river

  • Coffee

  • Spices*

  • Firewood

  • Chairs for the fire pit

  • Additional toilet paper and paper towels, depending on the length of your stay

 *On occasion,  these items will be at the cabins, but it is not guaranteed.
