Heather Hill Cabins are rental  cabins in Arkansas centrally located between Jasper and Harrison, one mile north of the Pruitt access of the Buffalo National River and only ½ mile off Hwy 7. We have 4 cabins available for rent, located on 20 private acres of forested mountainside.   The cabins are secluded from each by 450 – 500 feet of wooded area to give privacy to each cabin. We are perfect for romantic getaways, family vacations, retreats, and honeymoons. We are only a short drive to the Buffalo River where you can swim and fish.  Canoe rental outfitters are a short distance away for easy access.  For the hiking enthusiast, there are over 1,000 miles of hiking trails in the area.  As an added bonus, we  are only an hour from Branson and Eureka Springs.

The grounds surrounding the cabins are full of native shrubs and flowers providing areas to read, rest, visit, watch and listen to the wonderful sounds of the “Acres of Wildlife” where animals roam freely in their natural habitat. As one guest described it, “a little slice of heaven in Arkansas ” and "makes all of life's troubles disappear."  So come and explore all that Heather Hill Cabins and the Buffalo River area has to offer or just sit a spell on our porch swings and read or relax with nature.

About Us
Clint and Libby Barr

We purchased Heather Hill Cabins (Original and Retreat, formerly known as Cabin 1 and 2), after making a life change once becoming empty nesters.  We were searching for an area that we would love to vacation in and knew that Arkansas might be the place.  However weren't aware of Jasper/Newton County, even though we had once lived in Little Rock many years ago.  Once we found the area, we knew this was the place for us! We fell in love with the natural beauty of the Arkansas Ozarks, the beautiful Little Grand Canyon, the many scenic hiking trails,
